pterodactyls: with Robert Downey Jr as Doc! Inherent Vice is probably the least unfilmable Pynchon novel! So! Yay! After 5 readings of Gravity’s Rainbow (It used to be my favorite novel of all time, it’s now hovering somewhere near 3) I’m absolutely certain it could be made into a film.
